🚀 Getting Started

⭐ Option 1: Install from Chrome Extension Store (Recommended)

  1. Visit the Chrome Web Store — MailPilot AI
  2. Click Add to Chrome to complete the installation
  3. Once installed, MailPilot AI is ready to use in Gmail — no extra steps needed

🛠️ Option 2: Install from Source Code (Developer)

  1. Clone or download the repository: GitHub — MailPilotAI
  2. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/
  3. Enable Developer mode in the top right corner
  4. Click Load unpacked and select this project folder

⚙️ Configuration

  1. Click the MailPilot icon in your browser toolbar, or go to the extension's Options page
  2. Enter your Gemini API Key (get one for free at Google AI Studio)
  3. Click Update Models to fetch and select your preferred AI model
  4. Customize your Optimize Prompts, or leave them blank to use the high-quality defaults
